Dr. Khanna did her DM in Clinical Immunology from Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow. Before joining Sahara Hospital, she was working as Consultant, Department of Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology and Incharge Immunology Lab and Research in KLES Hospital and Medical Research Centre, Belgaum. She was also attached to the associated Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College as Professor of Medicine (Rheumatology Unit). She has a number of publications in national and international journals to her credit and is a reviewer for several international journals. She has nearly a decade of experience in diagnosis and management of patients with rheumatological disorders.
