types of kidney diseases like acute or chronic kidney failure, kidney diseases

Dialysis for critically
sick patients in ICU is our special area of interest. We offer services of all
types of haemodialysis including Continuous Renal Replacement therapy (CRRT)
like continuous venovenous haemodialysis (CVVHD) and hemofiltration (CVVHDF),
Slow Efficiency Haemodialysis (SLED) round the clock. We have portable water
plant, which can deliver ultra-pure water for haemodialysis at the bedside of
patient for bedside dialysis. We have special interest in bedside conventional haemodialysis,
Slow Efficiency Haemodialysis (SLED) and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy
(CRRT) and Continuous Cyclic Peritoneal Dialysis (CCPD) in critically sick
patients at ICU

Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) and Continuous Cyclic Peritoneal Dialysis (CCPD).

Facilities Available
Renal Medicine Sahara Hospital provides facilities for diagnosis
and treatment for all types of renal diseases in adult and children. We have
expertise for doing kidney biopsies and all type of vascular access procedures
like Arteriovenous Fistula (AVF), Arteriovenous Shunts (AVS), Internal Juglar Catheterization
(IJV), Subclavian Catheterization and Permcath insertion. We have facilities
for peritoneal catheter insertion. We have a team of experts who are interested
in dealing with complicated vascular access and peritoneal dialysis related
problems.
Dialysis Centre Dialysis is a procedure done to purify the blood by
removing the toxic substances. There are two types of dialysis: haemodialysis
and peritoneal dialysis, both of which are available at the Sahara Hospital
under the direct supervision of experts in this field. Sahara Hospital has
state of art haemodialysis unit having eight 4008 Art plus haemodialysis
machines, a Multifil rate machine for continuous renal replacement therapy and
a 500 liter/ hour capacity Aqua B Water treatment unit for haemodialysis.
Beside this, Sahara Hospital also have a WTS 300 H portal water treatment
system for bedside haemodialysis and slow low efficiency dialysis in intensive
care unit for critically sick patients. At Sahara Hospital we have round the
clock facilities for the care of all type of patient with kidney problem
including critically sick patients in ICU and patients with multi-organ
failure. We provide conventional as well as slow low efficiency dialysis
(SLED), continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), like Continuous
Veno-Venous Haemodialysis (CVVHD), Continuous Veno-Venous Hemodiafiltration
(CVVHDF) and Slow Continuous Ultrafiltration (SCUF) and Plasmapheresis. We use
dialyser reuse programme after reprocessing with renatron. We offer haemodialysis
to hepatitis B and hepatitis C patients in isolation unit. We also have round
the clock facilities for manual as well as cycler assisted intermittent
peritoneal dialysis, continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) and
continuous cyclic peritoneal dialysis (CCPD). All the dialysis procedures are
done by qualified, competent, highly experienced and dedicated technicians and
nurses under direct supervision of highly qualified and dedicated
Nephrologists. Our hospital has all the newer as well as established diagnostic
modalities used in nephrology. We are now doing Kidney Transplant at a very
affordable rate and accepting first degree blood relatives (mother, father,
son, daughter, brother, sister) and spouse (Husband, wife) as kidney donor.
